Gatlinburg Brewing Company

Gatlinburg Brewing Company is a locally owned brewery right on the Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg, a good option for guests in our Smoky Mountains cabins who’d rather spend an evening over a flight of house-made beer than fight the crowds at the bigger tourist bars. It’s a relaxed taproom, not a nightclub, so it’s an easy fit for couples or small groups looking for something low-key.

The lineup changes seasonally, but there’s usually a solid range from light lagers to heavier stouts, and the staff are generally happy to walk newcomers through a flight if you’re not sure where to start. There’s a small food menu, including pizza, so it works well as a casual dinner stop rather than just a drink on the way to somewhere else. No cover charge, no reservations needed, just walk in and grab a table or a spot at the bar.

It’s family-friendly earlier in the evening, with the crowd shifting a bit later as the night goes on, and it’s an easy walk from most of the downtown Gatlinburg Parkway if you’re staying nearby, or a short drive if you’re in one of our cabins up in the hills. It pairs well with an afternoon at Anakeesta or a hike, then a casual dinner and a beer flight to wind down before heading back to the cabin.
