The Boathouse

The Boathouse is the dinner we suggest when a group wants something a step up from a quick-service park meal, without needing a park ticket to get there. It sits right on the water at Disney Springs, serving steaks and seafood, and, the detail everyone remembers, vintage amphicars you can actually ride out on the lake before or after your meal.

Reservations matter here, especially on weekend evenings; walk-ins can mean a genuinely long wait. Book ahead through their website if you have a specific time in mind, particularly if you want a table with a water view. The amphicar rides book separately and fill up fast too, so reserve one alongside your dinner if it’s on your list.

Disney Springs itself doesn’t require a park ticket or parking fee, which makes this an easy no-pressure evening out even on a park-free day. It’s a straightforward drive from our Kissimmee and Davenport homes, and pairs naturally with a stroll around the shops and street performers at Disney Springs afterward.
