The Wharf is the easiest evening-out plan we give guests staying on the Orange Beach side of our collection. It’s a proper entertainment district built around a marina, restaurants, shops, a movie theater, and the largest Ferris wheel in the Southeast, which lights up after dark and makes for one of the better photo-ops of a Gulf Shores & Orange Beach trip.
Check what’s on at the amphitheater before you go, it regularly hosts touring concerts and events that can shape your evening, whether you want to catch a show or plan around avoiding the crowds it brings. Outside of event nights, it’s a relaxed, walkable spot to grab dinner, let the kids run off energy, and finish with a ride on the wheel.
It’s free to walk around, with the wheel and any individual attractions ticketed separately. Parking is plentiful, and it sits right on Orange Beach’s main strip, an easy drive from most of our Orange Beach and Gulf Shores properties, a solid pick for a night that doesn’t require a full day of planning.
