Waterville USA is the go-to water park for guests staying anywhere on the Gulf Shores side of our collection, and it earns that reputation the simple way: slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool all packed into a 20-acre property just a quarter-mile from the beach. It’s a full-day plan rather than a quick stop, especially with younger kids who will happily spend hours cycling through the same three slides.
The property is split between the water park and an adjoining amusement park with go-karts, bumper boats, mini golf, and an arcade, so it works even on a morning when the weather doesn’t cooperate for the beach. Tickets are sold separately for the water park and the amusement park side, or bundled together, and lockers and tube rentals are available if you’d rather travel light from your rental.
Go early on a hot July or August afternoon if you want to beat both the crowds and the lines for the bigger slides, and keep in mind the water park typically runs seasonally through the summer months while the amusement rides and mini golf stay open longer into the fall. Parking is on-site and it’s an easy, short drive from most of our Gulf Shores properties, making it a straightforward add to a beach week without eating up a whole travel day.
